GRANT PROGRAM

Since 1978, dedicated and diligent volunteers of the 1000+ Club to Benefit Cancer, Inc. have collected over $4 million through fundraisers and dues to support their commitment in Broward County, Florida, to target and control cancer – how cancer is diagnosed, treated, and how the lives of those with cancer and their families can be improved.

In 2009, our organization became a 501(c)(3) and our grant committee was created to support cancer related 501(c)(3) organizations in Broward County that provide cancer education, or patient services. Proposals were for projects producing a positive and lasting impact in the community.

Since 2011 we have awarded over $600,000 in grants.
