At The Colonnade Outlets At Sawgrass Mills
Food, Fashion & Fun III was the theme of the season kick-off event for the 1000+ Club that took place recently at the Colonnade Outlets at Sawgrass Mills. The morning started at the Grand Lux restaurant, where guests enjoyed Mimosas and Hors d ’Oeuvres as they socialized and bought tickets for the Chinese Raffle. “This was the third year in a row that the Colonnade’s rolled out the red carpet for us,” said Jennifer Tallow, President of the 1000+ Club to Benefit Cancer, Inc.
“We raised $6,000.00, which will go toward our grants to Broward County cancer related non-profits.”
“We were warmly greeted by members of the Marketing Team at Sawgrass Mills, which included Chris Valle, Director of Marketing, Joellyn Fellmeth, Regional Director of Marketing Sawgrass Marina Ramirez, Assistant Director of Marketing and Karen Garcia, Marketing Assistant,” said June McCarthy, Vice President of PR for the 1000+ Club. “It was a great turnout!” Co-chairs were Cheryl Arena, Carole Falkanger and Gina Stelnik. The event was sponsored by The Shops of the Colonnade Outlets at Sawgrass Mills.
A plated brunch was served, while everyone enjoyed a fashion presentation featuring the shops of the Colonnades, including Neiman Marcus Last Call, Off Fifth Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale’s, St. John, Escada, Tory Burch, Kate Spade and Versace to mention a few.
The Chinese raffle had a variety of items from several stores throughout the outlet and raffle tickets were also available for the chance to win a designer bag. Following the fashion show, each guest received a “goody bag” with coupons they used to shop throughout the outlet stores.
